About The Position

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with the requirements of the department and the scope and standards of nursing practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other care-team members, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN advocates for patients, families, and caregivers and supports the organization’s mission, values, patient experience, and clinical outcomes. The role is based at Centennial Medical Center Parthenon Pavilion. The organization describes providing staffing support, patient-monitoring and communication technology, supplies, and ongoing clinical education to support safe, high-quality care.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN).
PACU experience required.
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

Assess patients at admission and during scheduled or as-needed shifts, identify changes in patient status, and report those changes.
Perform procedures, monitoring, and other functions as ordered by medical providers.
Document care administration in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate patient needs, and work proactively to resolve them.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver holistic treatment plans that promote and support recovery.
Serve as the interface between healthcare providers and community support systems to coordinate ongoing care needs for specialized patient groups.
Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers.
