This position provides direct clinical crisis intervention, assessment, case management, and referrals for a high-risk population. The role involves mobile response to crisis behavioral health calls, including face-to-face interactions, phone, and tele-video conferencing. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, crisis intervention, recommending appropriate levels of care, and providing resources and referrals. The clinician will also assess suicide risk in hospitals, make level of care recommendations, facilitate hospitalization placement if appropriate, and provide outreach in the community for individuals needing support. Care coordination with hospitals and other treatment providers, collaboration with agency leaders on the Zero Suicide initiative, and ensuring consumer and family engagement are key aspects of the role. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with community partners to build relationships and support the needs of the high-risk population. Clinical documentation must be completed in AVATAR within 72 hours, and staff must maintain knowledge of agency technology programs and required training/certifications.
