Behavioral Health Clinician
About The Position
The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) is a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team in Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) Crisis, Inpatient, and Transition Point programs. The BHC coordinates with Patient Care Technicians, Registered Nurses, and Behavioral Health Medical Providers to help maintain a safe environment and ensure quality care for individuals receiving services. The clinician completes behavioral health assessments and service plans for individuals admitted to their assigned program, documents services provided, coordinates discharges, and coordinates care with family members or other significant people in the individual’s life. Community Bridges, Inc. is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency serving Arizona through residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical home, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services. Its programs serve individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness, using evidence-based models for prevention, education, and treatment.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a field related to behavioral health is required.
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of full-time healthcare-related work experience may be considered, provided the experience offers adequate exposure to behavioral and medical crisis situations.
Responsibilities
