About The Position

This is a PRN position for days, with up to 4 days to be worked per week. Each shift is 5 hours, with a start time varying between 8 AM and 2 PM, and an end time varying between 1 PM and 8 PM. The role is responsible for coordinating and assessing all patients referred to intensive outpatient programming. This includes coordinating the approval and level of care determination in cooperation with the psychiatrist, patient/family, and insurance verification. The position also coordinates and facilitates outside referrals and placement if needed.

Requirements

• Master's Degree required
• Active Kentucky License: LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT
• 2 years of job-related experience required
• Experience working in a hospital setting
• Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment

Nice To Haves

• Experience in group therapy preferred

Responsibilities

• Participates in the formulation of a treatment plan, implementation and evaluation.
• Implement therapeutic, evidenced based group therapy and psychoeducational classes to meet the needs of the patients.
• Provide brief therapeutic counseling.
• Assist patients with paperwork needed for FMLA and Short-term Disability in order to be away from work while in treatment.
• Develops and maintains professional relationships with treatment team members, hospital and medical staff and community partners.
