About The Position
Responsible for coordinating and assessing all patients referred to intensive outpatient programming. Coordinates the approval and level of care determination in cooperation with the psychiatrist, patient/family and insurance verification. Coordinates and facilitates outside referrals and placement if needed.
Requirements
- Master's Degree required
- Active Kentucky License: LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT
- 2 years of job-related experience required
- Experience working in a hospital setting
- Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in group therapy preferred
Responsibilities
- Participates in the formulation of a treatment plan, implementation and evaluation
- Implement therapeutic, evidenced based group therapy and psychoeducational classes to meet the needs of the patients
- Provide brief therapeutic counseling
- Assist patients with paperwork needed for FMLA and Short-term Disability in order to be away from work while in treatment
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with treatment team members, hospital and medical staff and community partners
