About The Position

Attain Behavioral Health is a comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment provider, offering IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program), PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program), OP (Outpatient Program), and MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment). As we expand to include Detox and Residential (RES) services, we are seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker to join our team and provide high-quality care to individuals on their recovery journey. The LPC/LSW will provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients with mental health and substance use disorders. This role involves developing personalized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure clients receive comprehensive care.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active LPC/LSW licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health and/or substance use counseling.
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and creating treatment plans.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, such as CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a behavioral health or addiction treatment setting.
  • Knowledge of state Medicaid and private insurance processes.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family counseling services.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the treatment team.
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Utilize trauma-informed and culturally competent care practices in all interactions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other clinical staff to ensure holistic care.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and referral sources.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and state regulations for counseling services.
  • Stay current with continuing education requirements and maintain licensure in good standing.
