Responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership. This role ensures the well-being of patients by providing a positive, supportive, and structured environment, addressing patient safety through required rounds, and monitoring patient vital signs. The Behavioral Health Associate engages with patients to achieve treatment goals, responds to distressed individuals using de-escalation techniques, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient coping skills and independence. They also reinforce learned skills, lead or co-lead therapeutic sessions, assist with daily living activities, and support admissions and discharges. Additionally, this role involves administrative tasks, potentially providing transportation, and guiding other staff members.
