About The Position
Cove Prep is seeking a Full Time Behavioral Health Associate responsible for the direct care and supervision of residents. This role involves overseeing residents effectively and properly at all times, including monitoring and interacting with individuals or groups to improve therapeutic interactions. The purpose of this role is to teach students basic academic, social, and other formative skills through instruction in one or more subjects, and to promote physical, mental, and social development.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Responsibilities
- Transports and accompanies residents to and from various appointments
- Performs bed checks/sweeps
- Performs contraband searches as requested
- Aids in restraints when necessary
- Monitors resident activities and enforces program rules
- Sets and maintains therapeutic boundary with residents, yet exhibits resident rapport
