About The Position

The Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) provides hands-on care and compassionate support to patients in a structured, team-focused behavioral health environment. The role is focused on patient safety and recovery, and involves direct patient care under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership. The associate helps maintain a safe, structured, therapeutic environment and responds to patient needs and concerns with empathy, professionalism, and respect. Training is provided upon hire for required CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification required; training provided upon hire.
• De-escalation and restraint certification required; training provided upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience working with a similar patient population is preferred.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
