About The Position
The Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) provides hands-on patient care and compassionate support in a structured, team-focused behavioral health environment. The role helps keep patients safe and supports their recovery while contributing to a therapeutic setting grounded in empathy, teamwork, and accountability. The BHA works under clinical or nursing leadership and responds to patient needs with safety as a top priority. Training and career-growth opportunities are available. The position is located in San Rafael, California, with a stated hourly compensation range of $25.00 to $28.00. Responsibilities may evolve based on business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required; training is provided upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of experience working with a similar patient population is preferred.
- First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
- RADT or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership.
