Requirements
- Associate’s degree in human service field required
- Two or more years’ experience as a Behavioral Health Associate
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
- First aid may be based on state or facility requirements
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in human service field preferred
- Two or more years’ experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional approach with patients and team members
- Address patient concerns promptly and respectfully to support satisfaction and safety
- Recognize and respond to patient needs with safety as a top priority
