Your Role & Impact The Behavioral Health Associate triages and manages patients with medical and behavioral health problems as part of the primary care team. As part of clinical training, provides psychoeducation, assessment, intervention strategies, skill training, and develop patient-centered psychotherapy treatment plans for patients. The Behavioral Health Associate also assists primary health care providers in detecting "at risk" patients, recognizing and treating mental health conditions, and assesses the clinical status of patients to determine the most appropriate level of care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology or PhD / PsyD in Psychology from an accredited program.
- Active Registration with the BBS as a pre-licensed ACSW, AMFT, or APCC or Active Registration with the Board of Psychology as post-doctoral pre-licensed psychologist
- Experience working with high-risk adolescents.
- Computer proficiency, particularly with Electronic Health/Medical Record systems and the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers from American Heart Association
- Valid California Driver’s License, proof of insurance and clean driving record.

Responsibilities
