Responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership. Ensures the well-being of patients and provides a positive, supportive, and structured environment. Patient safety is addressed through required rounds, timely completion of tasks, and maintaining a clean and uncluttered patient room. Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, engaging patients in activities to achieve treatment goals, responding to distressed patients, and applying de-escalation techniques. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to treat, rehabilitate, and return patients to the community, monitoring behavioral improvements, reinforcing positive behaviors, and reporting changes to the team. The associate will reinforce skills learned from nurses, physicians, and therapists, and may lead or co-lead individual or group sessions. Additionally, the role may involve assisting patients with activities of daily living, overseeing admissions and discharges, providing guidance to other staff, and coordinating patient transportation. Quality of work is demonstrated through accuracy, neatness, and timeliness, along with adherence to the work schedule and attendance policies. A positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers is expected, with a focus on resolving complaints and prioritizing patient safety.
