Responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership. This role ensures the well-being of patients by providing a positive, supportive, and structured environment. Key responsibilities include patient safety through required rounds, maintaining a clean patient environment, obtaining vital signs, and responding promptly to patient requests. The associate will engage patients in activities to achieve treatment goals, de-escalate distressed patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to treat, rehabilitate, and return patients to the community. This role involves monitoring behavioral improvements, reinforcing positive behaviors, reinforcing skills taught by other professionals, and potentially leading or co-leading therapeutic sessions. Assistance with activities of daily living, admissions, discharges, and patient transportation may also be required. The position emphasizes quality of work, adherence to schedule, and a positive, empathetic attitude towards patients.
