About The Position
This part-time casual position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and loves organizing logistics. Casual positions at Portland Community College have a working hour limit per fiscal year. Portland Community College is the largest post-secondary institution in Oregon and 19th largest in the nation, serving approximately 80,000 full- and part-time students. With four comprehensive campuses, five workforce training and education centers, and 200 community locations in the Portland metropolitan area, our unique role is to make high-quality education accessible to everyone, creating opportunities for our students and contributing to the economic development of our community.

Responsibilities
- Scan local calendars for relevant community fairs, festivals, and conferences, and navigate application or registration processes to secure tabling and event spaces.
- Set up, manage, and tear down informational booths at local community events, markets, or campus fairs.
- Engage directly with the public, answer basic questions, distribute flyers, and encourage community members to get involved with the organization's programs and initiatives.
