About The Position

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Behavior Therapist to work out of one of our Approved Private Special Education Programs (ALL Academy) in Stamford, CT. This role provides services to children who have been outplaced to our program due to social, behavioral, and/or academic needs. The Behavior Therapist will work under the guidance of Special Education Teachers and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts to implement each student’s educational and behavioral programs. They will also collaborate with service providers, including School Psychologists, Speech and Language Pathologists, and Occupational/Physical Therapists. Aspire Living & Learning has supported neurodiverse children and adults for over 40 years, offering person-centered services that evolve with people's needs, including education, behavioral health, residential, and community-based supports.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• 2-3 years of experience providing direct support to children with disabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Experience working directly with children with disabilities.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities
