About The Position
We are seeking a highly energetic and compassionate Behavior Technician (BT) / RBT to join our team in Matawan, NJ. This part-time role offers flexible after-school and weekend hours, making it ideal for students or those with busy schedules. As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with autistic children, implementing behavior intervention plans and celebrating their progress. - Willingness to be trained (RBT certification not required initially).
Nice To Haves
- Studying Psychology, SpEd, Speech, or ABA.
- Experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of BCBAs.
- Conduct data collection during sessions.
- Engage children in play-based learning activities.
- Celebrate and reinforce a child's achievements.
- Maintain a positive and energetic attitude during sessions.
- Collaborate with the team and BCBAs for support and training.
