About The Position

At Ascend Behavior Partners, RBTs work with children with autism through play, teaching, and everyday activities. The role requires a good heart, a willingness to learn, and the ability to build a real relationship with a child. This is a rewarding career path in behavioral health.

Requirements

• Professional experience working with children
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation & drivers’ license
• Willing to work in home or in-clinic
• Ability to pass background check
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification

Nice To Haves

• You don't need years of ABA experience.
• Ability to build a real relationship with a child.

Responsibilities

• Work 1-on-1 with children on the autism spectrum
• Use play, creativity, and ABA therapy to teach everyday life skills
• Bring patience, energy, and fun to each session, and celebrate all wins!
• Work with kids on daily living skills, language acquisition and challenging behaviors.
