About The Position
CABA is seeking a Behavior Technician to work with individuals across the lifespan with autism and other disabilities and conditions, including co-occurring needs, helping to increase independence and improve quality of life. The role involves implementing individualized treatment plans, collecting data, supporting clients in various settings, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR and CPI certification required (assistance provided if needed)
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must pass TB clearance and FBI/DOJ background check
- Three professional and two personal references
Nice To Haves
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 6 months to 1 year of experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- RBT certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
- Collect and record data accurately and consistently
- Support clients across clinic, home, and community settings
- Collaborate with BCBAs, families, educators, and other providers
