About The Position

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care is seeking a Behavior Technician to support people with developmental disabilities in reaching their highest level of independence. The role provides individualized, Applied Behavior Analysis-driven therapy in clients’ homes and/or community settings. Treatment plans are implemented under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst, with progress communicated to the supervisor and tracked through program data. The position is part-time and based in San Ysidro and surrounding cities. The posting lists current availability needs Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., for 2–5 hours per day. Medical benefits are available for those who qualify. The listed pay range is $20.00–$26.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or a behaviorally challenged population.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable transportation and insurance.
Flexibility with client scheduling and treatment needs.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

Registered Behavioral Technician certification; preferred but not required.
Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Implement Applied Behavior Analysis-driven programs for youth with developmental disabilities in their homes and/or a community environment.
Provide one-to-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities in a home or community setting.
Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst.
Provide adequate feedback regarding progress to the supervisor.
Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social skills, and other targeted treatment goals.
Track client progress and program data.
Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Observe confidentiality and safeguard patient-related information.
