Behavior Technician - Jessup, MD
About The Position
STEPS Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in their homes, schools, or clinics. The technician implements treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), collects and documents client progress data, collaborates with families and team members, and maintains a safe, positive environment during therapy sessions. The role is part-time, with full-time opportunities available. Shifts begin in the evenings; day shifts may become available as the technician builds a caseload. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour, or $25–$28 per hour for certified technicians.
Requirements
- Must have or be willing to obtain RBT certification.
- Previous experience with children.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-clinic.
- Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
