About The Position

We are hiring a Behavior Technician to join our team of professionally patient, out-of-the-box thinkers. You will be implementing Behavior Intervention Plans, which means helping cool humans learn how to navigate a world that makes no sense. You will track data by counting behaviors to help us find the best ways to support him. You will reinforce positive behaviors, becoming a hype-man for everyday victories like sharing, transitions, and communication. You will get high-fives, and sometimes a bit of chaos; it is a package deal. The target age group is a 4-year-old male who is verbal and highly communicative, but needs strong support navigating some moderate-to-severe behavioral challenges. This is a direct, in-person session role right in the client's home.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in English
• Possesses the patience of a saint who has been highly caffeinated
• Keeps a calm, cool head when a session gets intense
• Has a background in psychology, education, or a lifetime of being the exceptionally understanding friend
• Ability to excel at high-fives, counting to ten, and embracing the unexpected
