About The Position

D & M Behavioral Solutions of Pembroke Pines, FL is looking to hire a part-time or full-time Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist. This role involves partnering with families to carry out ABA treatment plans that build communication, social interaction, and daily living skills. The position offers training for those without prior ABA experience. The company's mission is to help children with autism and their families build the skills, confidence, and daily routines to thrive at home, at school, and in the community. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with children in their homes, schools, and communities, delivering kid-centered ABA therapy through games, play, and everyday routines. You will follow the treatment plan designed by a BCBA, collect real-time data, and write session notes. The company builds caseloads around availability and neighborhood to create a flexible schedule. BCBA supervision and coaching are provided monthly.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Willingness to complete the 40-hour RBT training and certify within 180 days of hire.
Valid Florida driver license, reliable car, and auto insurance.
A tablet or laptop for session notes.
Ability to pass a Florida Level 2 background screening.
A genuine love for working with kids and families.
Patience, reliability, and strong communication with families and teammates.
Experience with children with autism is a plus, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.

Responsibilities

Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Teaches communication, social, play, and daily living skills through play-based and naturalistic ABA.
Collects accurate data in real time and completes session notes in ABA Matrix within 24 hours.
Responds to challenging behavior using the strategies in the behavior plan.
Checks in and out of every session at the point of care.
Communicates professionally with caregivers, BCBAs, and the treatment team.
Participates in monthly supervision and ongoing training.
Maintains client confidentiality and follows D & M policies and the RBT Ethics Code.
