About The Position

Autism Spectrum Connection (ASC) is a growing organization providing ABA Therapy services to children on the spectrum in the Inland Empire and Orange County area. We are looking for new team members looking for 30 to 40 hours per week with Monday - Friday 9 AM to 6 PM availability. As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will work with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement impactful care in an in-home setting, making a difference with our clients reaching their true potential. You'll work one-on-one with our client families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ABA experience preferred
  • Pass background check
  • Reliable transportation
  • Multi-tasking skills
  • Effective oral, written, and reading communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a home setting, school, and community settings.
  • Collect and record data on child behaviors.
  • Help track progress, influence care plans, and celebrate milestones.
  • Partner closely with BCBAs and help inform treatment plans so children are receiving the best care possible.
  • Prepare various documentation as required.
  • Understand and implement the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) as identified by the BCBA.
  • Observe, measure, and record behavior, identify progress and regression in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Prompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills.
  • Assures that behavior change is long lasting and demonstrates that the interventions being used are responsible for behavior changes.
  • Implement the treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment and seeks out appropriate consultation.
  • Collaborates with family and treatment team members to provide treatment effectively and without disruption to the environment or other individuals in the environment.
  • Educate parents on reinforcement and early intervention information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
