About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to work with children aged 18 months to 6 years who have a diagnosis of autism in a center-based environment. This role involves providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), utilizing play-based methods to build skills and create a safe, supportive atmosphere. The position includes comprehensive paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), with ongoing mentorship and career development opportunities. Requirements

  • Full-time availability Monday–Friday, between 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
  • Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliability, including showing up for scheduled hours and staying on top of administrative tasks.
  • Resilience and compassion.
  • Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment.
  • Physical readiness for the role: pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds; sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and moving quickly alongside kids when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), guided by individualized treatment plans.
  • Build skills through play, connection, and creating a safe environment for children to try new things.
  • Track progress and document sessions using ABA technology.
  • Create a safe, positive environment for every child.
  • Prepare for RBT certification exam within the first 45 days of employment.
