Behavior Technician - Part-Time Evenings - San Ysidro
About The Position
SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-to-one therapy to youth with developmental disabilities in home and/or community settings. The role implements customized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs and goals under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, supports skill development, and tracks client progress. The position is part-time, with current availability needs Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for 2–5 hours per day. Service areas include San Ysidro and surrounding cities. Medical benefits are available to those who qualify. SpringHealth, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides integrated behavioral health care for people with cognitive, developmental, or intellectual disabilities. Its multidisciplinary teams work to help clients lead more positive, active, and social lives.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or a behaviorally challenged population.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation and insurance.
- Flexibility with client scheduling and treatment needs.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Nice To Haves
- Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification is preferred but not required for a Behavior Technician.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis-driven programs for youth with developmental disabilities in home and/or community environments.
- Provide one-to-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities in home or community settings.
- Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Provide feedback to the supervisor regarding client progress.
- Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social skills, and other targeted treatment goals.
- Track client progress and program data.
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard patient-related information.
