About The Position

Empower Minds ABA LLC provides compassionate, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to help children and families build meaningful skills for everyday life. We are seeking Behavior Technicians to provide 1:1 ABA services to a client in Pinole, CA and surrounding areas. In this role, you will implement behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA, collect data, and help clients build communication, social, academic, and daily living skills in home, school, and community settings.

Requirements

• 0–5 years of experience (new graduates and entry-level candidates are welcome)
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional coursework in psychology, education, or related fields is a plus)
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations in/near Pinole, CA
• Ability to follow written programs, accept feedback, and implement coaching in real time
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a client-centered mindset
• Ability to pass background checks and meet any applicable state/funder requirements

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with children (e.g., childcare, tutoring, classroom aide, camp counselor, coaching)
• ABA experience as a Behavior Technician/RBT (not required)
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential (preferred; support toward obtaining may be available depending on role needs)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA/clinical supervisor
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior reduction protocols with fidelity
• Teach skill acquisition programs (e.g., communication, social skills, play, self-help, and adaptive skills)
• Collect accurate session data and write clear session notes in a timely manner
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies to support behavior change
• Communicate professionally with caregivers and team members regarding session progress and goals
• Attend required supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training
• Maintain client confidentiality and follow ethical and professional standards
