About The Position

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. Behavior Technicians provide one-on-one specialized treatment to clients in a home-based setting, working in partnership with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Paid training and support are provided. The role offers part-time work after school hours and is suited to someone passionate about working with children and helping families.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Passion and love for working with children.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with children and parents.
Reliable personal transportation and ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Clear verbal and written communication skills, including following detailed instructions and documenting information accurately.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities.
Ability to meet the physical demands of keeping pace with children ages 2–15, including lifting 25 or more pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with children.
Prior experience supporting children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs.
Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities; comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of individualized treatment plans and report progress.
Support the BCBA with training families to implement individualized treatment plans.
Respond to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
Keep pace with clients as they move around session areas, including standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25 or more pounds, running, squatting, and kneeling.
Perform other tasks outlined by the BCBA or LBA.
