About The Position

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. Behavior Technicians provide one-on-one specialized treatment in clients’ homes in partnership with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Training is provided. The role offers flexible part-time, afternoon, and evening hours, with the listed schedule of Monday through Friday, 3:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Compensation is $20–$30 per hour. Benefits listed for full-time employees include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.

Clear verbal and written communication skills, including following detailed instructions and documenting information accurately.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with children.
Prior experience supporting children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs.
Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of individualized treatment plans and report progress.
Support the BCBA in training families to implement individualized treatment plans.
Respond to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
Keep pace with clients during sessions, including standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25 or more pounds, running, squatting, and kneeling.
Perform other tasks outlined by the BCBA/LBA.
