About The Position

Dashi Rivers, part of the Kennedy Care family, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Behavior Technician to join their team. This role focuses on providing supportive, family-centered ABA therapy to children and teens with autism, helping them grow, learn, and thrive. The Behavior Technician will play a key role in delivering high-quality ABA therapy to children and families, offering a meaningful career path for those who enjoy working with kids.

Requirements

18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation
Valid Michigan Drivers License
Must pass a background check
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be involved in physical floor play including but not limited to bending and reaching

Nice To Haves

RBT Certification
Experience working with children and/or background in Special Education, Psychology, Mental or Behavioral Health
Energetic, empathetic, and passionate about working with children or adults with special needs
Experienced RBTs MUST possess valid RBT credential number on the BACB website

Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy sessions as a Behavior Technician in home and center settings
Follow individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA as a Behavior Technician
Track progress and collect session data accurately during ABA therapy sessions
Use positive, evidence-based strategies as a Behavior Technician to support skill development
Partner with families and supervisors to ensure consistent, high-quality ABA therapy
