About The Position

ABA Pathways is seeking kind, energetic, and compassionate individuals to join their team as Behavior Technicians. This role involves working directly with children and young teens with autism to help them build essential life skills. The position offers paid training for those with no prior experience, focusing on building skills and confidence for a rewarding career. Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Ability to pass a background check and TB test.
  • Valid driver’s license or state ID.
  • Love working and playing with children.
  • Be kind, patient, and adaptable in a variety of situations.
  • Communicate well and thrive in a team environment.
  • Show responsibility and dependability in every aspect of their work.
  • Be open to feedback and excited to grow professionally.
  • Have flexible availability between 8:00 AM–6:30 PM, Monday through Friday (with one Saturday per month).
  • Be comfortable potentially working in-home and community settings.
  • Be comfortable working with technology, such as Google Workspace.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs and actively engage in play and movement.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience working with children, particularly in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or within the education field.
  • RBT certification or coursework in psychology, education, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing individualized treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Using positive reinforcement and play-based teaching to help children learn new skills.
  • Collecting and tracking progress data with care and accuracy.
  • Collaborating with your supervisor and team to support each child’s goals.
  • Building trusting, respectful relationships with children, families, and teammates.
  • Completing session notes and other administrative tasks on time.
