About The Position

At Autism Learning Partners and Children’s Learning Connection, we work with children with autism to help them grow, learn, and thrive through play-based teaching. We provide full, paid training — no prior experience in ABA needed! This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children and have experience in babysitting, school assistance, or volunteering with children. We offer comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills to make a significant difference in a child's life.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED AND at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled in college courses)
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
• Willingness to pass background and health checks
• Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficiently
• A big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish/Vietnamese) for extra pay

Responsibilities

• Teach children new skills like communication, sharing, or following directions, often through fun games or activities.
• Encourage progress and celebrate small victories every day.
• Be actively engaged and moving around during sessions.
• Track progress and session outcomes (training provided).
• Support families by contributing to a team that helps them see real progress and hope.
