About The Position

AB Spectrum is hiring a full-time Behavior Technician to provide individualized, one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children ages 1–6. The clinic’s ReggioABA™ approach combines evidence-based ABA with child-led, play-based learning inspired by Reggio Emilia. Working under BCBA supervision, the Behavior Technician helps children develop communication, social, independence, and daily living skills, while building supportive relationships and creating learning opportunities through play. This is an active, hands-on clinical position involving floor play, movement, teaching, and engagement with children throughout the day. The role follows individualized treatment plans and behavior protocols, includes real-time data collection and communication with the clinical team, and requires responding calmly to challenging behavior using positive, non-restraint strategies taught during training. No prior ABA experience is required. Paid training begins on the first day, with support toward completing RBT certification within the established 90-day timeframe following competency completion. AB Spectrum covers RBT coursework, assessment and certification-related fees, and renewal fees, and provides ongoing BCBA supervision, feedback, and career-development opportunities. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with no evenings or weekends. The schedule is set and cannot be modified. Placement is based on current openings, clinical needs, and where the candidate is believed to be most successful. The posting lists current Missouri locations as Ballwin, Wright City, and St. Peter’s; its headline also identifies Florissant, St. Louis, MO.
