About The Position

Family of Kidz is hiring and has immediate openings for a full-time, center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist/Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT). This role involves working with children in an engaging and high-energy environment. The position is Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Compensation is hourly, ranging from $18-24, with rates determined by service provided, professional experience, and certifications held. Family of Kidz has been helping children with special needs since 1998, focusing on understanding each child's needs and teaching skills for greater independence and quality of life.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months ABA working with children or adolescents with Autism in a supervised setting.
  • Successful completion of or current enrollment in an undergraduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with Clinical Supervisors to implement principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy.
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions.
  • Acquire and maintain RBT credential in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Use CentralReach platform for data collection and graphing.
  • Implement Behavior Support Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans as directed.
  • Effectively manage learners including physical crisis intervention protocols, while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
  • Understand and demonstrate the company core values.
