Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). They use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. The role offers comprehensive training, including for candidates without prior experience, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children and their families. The work can be physically active, and children may be unpredictable or confrontational. Technicians must be comfortable moving through a range of positions and lifting or carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Spanish proficiency is required.
