Behavior Technician (BT) — Step Ahead Growth Pathway: Free 40-Hour RBT Training
About The Position
Step Ahead ABA offers a unique opportunity for individuals to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) through their "Step Ahead Growth Pathway." This program provides the required 40-hour RBT training course free of charge. Upon completion and certification, individuals are hired onto the Step Ahead ABA team at a starting pay of $23/hour or more. No prior ABA experience or BACB number is necessary to begin. The program allows individuals to complete the training at their own pace. After completing the course, candidates register with the BACB and take the exam, with Step Ahead ABA covering the cost of the training course itself. Once certified, individuals are eligible to work with clients and join the "Fast Track Placement" pool, ensuring priority placement as cases become available. Payroll begins only after certification and placement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation for when you are placed.
- Able to stay active and engaged in session.
- Genuine interest in working with autistic children.
- No certification, no BACB number and no prior ABA experience required.
Responsibilities
