Requirements

  • 60 college units and 1 year of supervised experience in early intervention, OR 60 college units (including 12 units in a related field such as Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or Education) and 6 months of experience working with children, OR Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or Education) and 6 months of experience working with children.
  • At least 6 months of experience with developmental delays (all ages).
  • Must be 21+ years old.
  • Must have a car with a license and insurance.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a California Driver's License (or be active military/military dependent).
  • Must be insured on an auto insurance policy.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with children ages 1-12 with developmental delays/autism in their homes, implementing lesson plans.
  • Track progress, celebrate wins, and document session details.
  • Coach caregivers on applying ABA principles in daily moments.
