About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician to join their team in Dearborn, MI. This role involves providing 1:1 direct service using evidence-based treatments like Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in family homes, schools, and community settings. The position requires timely data collection, parent/staff correspondence, and other required documentation. The technician will have the opportunity to apply individualized treatments in a fun and engaging manner. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) is required.
• Availability Monday-Friday, 1:30-7:30pm.

Nice To Haves

• 3-6 months experience in the division of behavioral health services.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician certification
• Completed college coursework in mental health, child development, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Using evidence-based treatments (such as Applied Behavior Analysis – ABA) to provide 1:1 direct service in family homes, schools, and community settings.
• Complete timely ongoing data collection, including parent/staff correspondence and all required documentation.
