About The Position

This role involves providing one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and support to their families under the close supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). RBTs may work with clients in-home, in-school, in-center, and in the community. The position requires assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of the Behavior Support Plan, collecting data, and writing progress notes. Effective communication with supervisors and parents is essential. The role also includes completing a BACB-approved RBT course and keeping registration current.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Must pass background check (will include fingerprints)
  • Must have at least 1-year experience working with Children
  • Active Driver's License and/or access to reliable transportation to and from work
  • Maintain BLS Certificate (On-Site training provided for BLS)
  • Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

  • Provides one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and support to their families under the close supervision of a BCBA.
  • Works with clients in-home, in-school, in-center, and in the community.
  • Assesses and evaluates the effectiveness of the Behavior Support Plan in achieving identified goals and objectives by collecting data and writing progress notes.
  • Communicates effectively with supervisors and parents.
  • Completes a BACB-approved RBT course and keeps registration current.
  • Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures, standards, and consistently interprets and accurately performs all assigned responsibilities.
  • Pairs and builds rapport with clients, families, stakeholders, and their Team members.
  • Attends all collaboration, case meetings, and team training meetings.
  • Records detailed session notes, keeps accurate client data in real-time, and maintains records well documented.
  • Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient-related information.
  • Demonstrates effective time-management skills through daily documentation and infrequent overtime for routine assignments.
  • Maintains a clean and neat work environment.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Exhibits exemplary skills in self-management and communication.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
