About The Position

This role involves providing one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and supporting their families under the close supervision of a BCBA. Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of the Behavior Support Plan, collecting data, writing progress notes, and maintaining effective communication with supervisors and parents. The role also requires completing a BACB-approved RBT course and keeping registration current. Training is provided, and sign-on bonuses are available for current RBTs and full-time Behavior Technicians.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Must pass background check (will include fingerprints)
  • Must have at least 1-year experience working with Children
  • Active Driver's License and/or access to reliable transportation to and from work
  • Maintain BLS Certificate (On-Site training provided for BLS)
  • Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and support to their families under the close supervision of a BCBA.
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the Behavior Support Plan in achieving identified goals and objectives by collecting data and writing progress notes.
  • Maintain effective communication with supervisors and parents.
  • Complete a BACB-approved RBT course and keep registration current.
  • Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures, standards, and consistently interpret and accurately perform all assigned responsibilities.
  • Pair and build rapport with clients, families, stakeholders and their Team members.
  • Attend all collaboration, case meetings, and team training meetings.
  • Record detailed session notes, keeping accurate client data in real-time, and maintaining records well documented.
  • Observe confidentiality and safeguard all patient-related information.
  • Demonstrate effective time-management skills through daily documentation and infrequent overtime for routine assignments.
  • Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making.
  • Exemplary skills in self-management and communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
