About The Position

This role involves providing one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and supporting their families under the close supervision of a BCBA. Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of the Behavior Support Plan, collecting data, writing progress notes, and maintaining effective communication with supervisors and parents. The role also requires completing a BACB-approved RBT course and keeping registration current. Training is provided, and sign-on bonuses are available for current RBTs and full-time Behavior Technicians.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Must have High School Diploma or GED
Must pass background check (will include fingerprints)
Must have at least 1-year experience working with Children
Active Driver's License and/or access to reliable transportation to and from work
Maintain BLS Certificate (On-Site training provided for BLS)
Must pass background check.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and support to their families under the close supervision of a BCBA.
Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the Behavior Support Plan in achieving identified goals and objectives by collecting data and writing progress notes.
Maintain effective communication with supervisors and parents.
Complete a BACB-approved RBT course and keep registration current.
Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures, standards, and consistently interpret and accurately perform all assigned responsibilities.
Pair and build rapport with clients, families, stakeholders and their Team members.
Attend all collaboration, case meetings, and team training meetings.
Record detailed session notes, keeping accurate client data in real-time, and maintaining records well documented.
Observe confidentiality and safeguard all patient-related information.
Demonstrate effective time-management skills through daily documentation and infrequent overtime for routine assignments.
Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
Demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making.
Exemplary skills in self-management and communication.
Perform other duties as assigned.
