About The Position
Alpha & Omega Kids is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide in-home ABA therapy for children with autism and related developmental disabilities in Bronx, New York. We are seeking reliable, motivated professionals who are comfortable working independently in family homes while receiving consistent supervision from a BCBA. Training is available for candidates new to ABA. Candidates must be willing to obtain certification if not already credentialed. Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Access to a mobile device for documentation
- High school diploma
- Must pass background screening
- Able to engage in physical activity including kneeling, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to accept supervision and feedback
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 6 months of ABA or related experience
- Experience working with children
- Spanish speaking
- RBT certification
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in the child’s home
- Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA
- Collect and record session data using a mobile device
- Write clear, accurate session notes
- Support development of communication, behavior regulation, and daily living skills
- Maintain professionalism with families and caregivers
