About The Position

Kind Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join their clinic-based ABA therapy team. This role offers a consistent schedule, stable hours, and no weekends, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time employment. The position emphasizes in-person BCBA supervision, a team-oriented clinic environment, and a proven ABA therapy model. Kind Behavioral Health has over 20 years of experience serving children and families in North Carolina and is expanding into Georgia.

Requirements

  • RBT certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days – paid training provided)
  • Experience working with children in structured or caregiving settings required (ABA, childcare, education, or related fields)
  • Ability to think on your feet, stay engaged, and create a positive, interactive environment for children
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and responding quickly to movement as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Higher starting rates available for experienced RBTs

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect and record data on client progress during sessions
  • Interact with clients and caregivers throughout sessions
  • Create engaging, fun, and motivating learning environments for children
  • Collaborate daily with your clinical team
