About The Position

Autism 360 is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in Gastonia, North Carolina, to help children with autism learn, grow, communicate, and build independence. No ABA experience is required; paid training and onboarding are provided. Technicians work directly with children through play, structured activities, and evidence-based ABA techniques to develop life skills. They work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), follow individualized treatment plans, and record progress using electronic session documentation. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule of 30 or more hours per week, with no weekends or major holidays.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to pass required screenings.
Physical ability to stay active throughout the day and lift up to 50 pounds.
Dependability, patience, energy, and genuine enjoyment of working with children.

Nice To Haves

Experience in childcare, education, camps or after-school programs, nannying, direct support, or as a BT/RBT is welcomed but not required.
ABA experience is not required; paid training is provided.
