Behavior Technician II / QMHP-T
About The Position
Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a Behavior Technician II to work with individuals living with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and mental health challenges in their Adult Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) located in Woodbridge, VA. This role offers QMHP-T supervision and a $2,000 sign-on and retention bonus for full-time hires. The Behavior Technician II will facilitate daily programs and rehabilitative activities, provide therapeutic interventions, and assist with personal care. They will collaborate with primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support for referred individuals.
Requirements
- Ability to register as a Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee and be approved within 30 days of hire.
- Experience working with IDD/Behavioral Health (BH) disorders required.
- Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily programs and rehabilitative activities.
- Provide therapeutic interventions.
- Assist with personal care.
- Work closely with participants' primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support.
