The Behavior Support Specialist is a collaborative educational professional dedicated to helping every student develop the social, emotional, and behavioral skills needed to thrive in school and beyond. Serving three community campus schools, this position works alongside teachers and students to implement behavior initiatives, supporting campuses, coordinating the organizations’ Character Education Program, collecting and analyzing behavior data, and providing direct services to students. Through classroom coaching, direct student support, professional learning, and consultation, the Behavior Support Specialist empowers educators with practical strategies that promote inclusion, positive behavior, and student independence. This role focuses on prevention, skill development, and early intervention while partnering with the Autism Specialist, Behavior Specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students across all 3 campus settings.
