About The Position

This is an entry-level position that serves as the first step in a mapped-out career journey, potentially leading to a degree, promotion, and leadership roles. The company focuses on helping children with autism and other developmental needs through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The role involves using play, games, and evidence-based strategies to help children build communication, social, and life skills. The work is performed in a flexible, on-the-go environment, meeting children in their homes, at centers, or in the community. Prior experience is not required, as comprehensive training and support are provided. The position emphasizes making a difference in children's lives and supporting their families.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of experience in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)
  • Flexible availability (especially Mon–Fri afternoons/evenings + Saturdays)
  • Proof of vaccinations (MMR, Varicella)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Comfort working with diverse populations
  • Ability to frequently sit and stand; keeping pace with your client
  • Constant visual stimulation, including close vision, distance vision, reading, computer work
  • Constant sitting; frequent up and down out of chair
  • Constant use of telephone, speaking, listening
  • Constant document handling, use of copier and fax machine, filing
  • Frequent typing, use of computer
  • Occasional walking around building
  • Occasional bending, reaching, stooping, pulling
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, moving of items up to 20 pounds
  • Occasional walking to, bending to enter, sitting and using upper and lower limbs to drive car
