Liberty Resources is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Specialist to lead the provision of psychological services supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) residing in our IRAs. Requirements

  • MS in Psychology or related field.
  • Experience treating individuals with co-occurring disorders, behavioral needs and/or as a Behavior Specialist.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to use a personal vehicle to transport individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Behavior Support Plans (BSP) and Medication Monitoring Plans (MMP).
  • Develop effective behavior tracking tools and instruct program staff on methods for consistent, accurate tracking of individual behavior events.
  • Serve as the clinical representative on the Liberty Resources’ Human Rights Committee in conjunction with the PhD Psychologist.
  • Teach SCIP-R curriculum.
  • Stay current on 633 Regulations and ensure agency policy and procedures are up to date with updated regulations.
  • Provide support and consultation in the admission and discharge of individuals.
