About The Position

The CSCT Behavior Specialist is a full time, non-exempt position and a member of a three-person CSCT team, which includes two CSCT Behavior Specialists led by a CSCT Therapist. Services are primarily provided in the school setting throughout the year. The CSCT team delivers a range of services aimed at enhancing youth's functional level by fostering the development of appropriate behaviors in both school and community environments.

Requirements

Meet state licensing requirement minimum age of 21 at the time of hire
High school diploma or equivalent, and at least two years of relevant experience working with youth and/or in a school setting
Valid driver's license
Ability to be an outgoing team player who can work collaboratively and personably with other staff
Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed
Ability to climb stairs as needed

Responsibilities

Provide behavioral support and crisis interventions as established in Individual Treatment Plans
Assist with the facilitation of referrals for additional services when warranted
Maintain accurate and current documentation required for billing and data collection
Work effectively to engage with youth and adults, with professionalism and competence
