About The Position
The CSCT Behavior Specialist is a full-time, non-exempt position and a member of a three-person CSCT team, which includes two CSCT Behavior Specialists led by a CSCT Therapist. Services are provided primarily in the school setting throughout the year. The CSCT team offers a range of services aimed at enhancing youth's functional level by fostering the development of skills related to appropriate behaviors in school and community settings.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 at the time of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of relevant experience working with youth and/or in a school setting
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed
- Ability to climb stairs as needed

- Bachelor's degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral support and crisis interventions as established in Individual Treatment Plans
- Assist with the facilitation of referrals for additional services when warranted
- Maintain accurate and current documentation required for billing and data collection
- Work effectively to engage with youth and adults, with professionalism and competence
