About The Position

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center is seeking motivated individuals to work as Behavior Technicians, providing one-on-one ABA therapy to children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities. The role focuses on helping children develop essential communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Comprehensive paid training, hands-on guidance, and ongoing support from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are provided, making prior ABA experience unnecessary. The position involves working with children primarily aged 3-17, with sessions typically lasting 2-5 hours, and requires afternoon and evening availability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Available a minimum of 15 hours per week
• Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles from your home for client sessions
• Strong communication, professionalism, and organizational skills
• Comfortable learning data collection and behavior intervention techniques

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience working with children is a plus
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills
• Help reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies
• Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians to support client progress
• Communicate professionally with families and caregivers
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings
